| Operator compartment
Designed with the most ergonomically advanced features including convenient on/off suspension seat adjustable to the driver’s body size and weight, a spacious footwell with no interfering projections, Linde twin driving pedals for smooth change of travel direction with feet alone, and load hydraulics actuated by joystick control levers integrated into the armrest. A 45 degree panorama seat is optional and the driver compartment can be fitted out as a fully enclosed comfort cab. |
| Chassis
This self-supporting unitized assembly provides superior strength and durability and houses the hydraulic system and drive components within for dirt and splash protection. |
| Drive system
Two motors flanged together form the drive axle for the 336 series. Traction power is provided independently to each wheel eliminating the need for a differential, thereby improving traction and reducing friction losses and maintenance costs. The truck’s eighty volt power system improves efficiency by requiring lower amp draws for a given amount of work, thereby producing less heat, less power loss and providing exceptionally long battery run times before recharging. Motor brush life is significantly increased. |
| Digital control
The Linde Digital Traction Controller (LDC) provides smooth, precise drive control, and Linde Load Control (LLC) precisely regulates pump speed and hydraulic flow according to demand, resulting in high productivity and low energy consumption. The controller and power modules are connected by advanced CAN bus technology for high speed data transfer, providing integrated fault diagnostics which greatly reduces maintenance time and expense. |
| Steering system
Anti-kickback hydrostatic power steering with ergonomically designed steering wheel is virtually effortless. Active steering controls each drive wheel separately as a function of steer angle resulting in excellent traction and minimal tire wear. The patented Linde Combi-axle enables the truck to turn like a three wheeler. |
| Mast
Exclusive clearview chainless secondary masts allow excellent visibility and cushioned mast staging reduces maintenance. |
| Brakes
Releasing the drive pedals activates dynamic motor braking eliminating brake wear and returning energy to the battery. A separate foot brake is provided for emergency stopping and a hand brake for parking. |
